Victorian Star
A traditional eight-pointed star, made unique by the use of laces, embroidered insertion, and pintucks. Each point was made individually, then stitched on top of a batik background. Narrow borders of pink and dark purple bring out those shades in the batik. Large swirling quilted feathers fill the corners.
